WEDNESDAY ACCUMULATION VARIETY (13-07-2016)
BE CAREFUL TO SELECT AND COMBINE TO REARRANGE THEM AS THEY SUIT YOU. THE MATCHES ARE BELOW
The search for Roy Hodgson’s replacement as England head coach continues, with the FA expected to approach a number of prospective candidates in the coming weeks and months. Although there have been several high-profile bosses speculated, Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has emerged as one of the favourites, and we decided to compile a list of reasons as to why he would be perfect for the job.
1. Experience has not worked – Over the years, the FA have tempted big names to the position, with Fabio Capello, Sven Goran Eriksson and Steve McLaren all taking charge of England. Despite their decades of experience and number of titles won, success has continued to evade the national team, and a manager who is less set in his ways could be the change the team needs.
2. Howe is English – Experimenting with foreign managers in the past has been a complete disaster, as they struggle to handle the media pressure and communication with the team. The general sentiment is that an English manager should be in charge of England, and Buckinghamshire-born Howe fits the bill.
We, provide, free, possible winning, accumulations, soccer, picks, football news, across the globe, accumulation picks.
3. Progress with Bournemouth – During two spells with the Cherries, the boss has taken them from League Two obscurity to successfully remaining in the Premier League. Howe knows what it takes to achieve with his team, and has worked his way up from the bottom in a remarkably short space of time.
4. Give youth a chance – Howe has been successful using a mixture of youth and experience in the Bournemouth squad, giving opportunities to the likes of Joshua King, Callum Wilson and Benik Afobe, as well as bringing in Nathan Aké from Chelsea. As several England ‘stars’ are reaching the ends of their careers, Howe could very well be the one to make the decision to focus on younger talent instead.
5. Less successful managers do better – For all the silverware previous managers have boasted, it has often been the less successful bosses that have excelled in the top job. Aside from a couple of minor trophies with Ipswich, Sir Bobby Robson hadn’t won much when appointed England manager. Likewise, Terry Venables reached the Euro 96 semi-finals after limited success in the English leagues, and another similar calibre boss like Howe could also do better than recent shortcomings.
